Let’s Flourish

Let’s Flourish

Let’s Flourish is an international art initiative organized by ACCES in partnership with sige!, and in cooperation with Art Loft, Le Salon des Indépendants, Artist Independent, Filipino Artist Guild Europe, Vienna Atelier Of Traditional Art, and AcapElles.

With the support of Amihan Travels, Hotel Majestic, and Château Franc Capet, the project brings Filipino artists together with a carefully selected group of international artists from Singapore, Canada, Spain, USA, Ukraine, Germany, France and Italy.

The first leg of the exhibition took place at the prestigious Grand Palais.

At the Grand Palais, Ambassador de Vega expressed his support for the exhibition.

He acknowledged the dedication of the participating artists and affirmed the importance of showcasing Filipino arts and culture on an international stage.

Also, the participating Filipino artists were received for a courtesy call by HE Eduardo de Vega.

The meeting reflected the Philippine government’s support for Filipino artists representing the country abroad. The Philippine Embassy hosted a presentation organized by Margo Le Lain focusing on Macario Vitalis, an influential Filipino painter who lived in Plestin-les-Grèves, Brittany and became known for his contribution to European art. His work and presence significantly shaped the cultural life of the small French town. The presentation offered artists a deeper appreciation of the long-standing connection between Filipino art and Europe.

The Vienna Exhibition:
Art with Purpose

The second leg of Let’s Flourish was presented at the United Nations in Vienna as a gathering centered on creativity, shared responsibility, and cooperation. Organized by ACCES in partnership with Sige!, ENFiD Austria, The VIC Art Club, and the UN Women’s Guild, the exhibition brought together artists, diplomats, and supporters with a common goal: to help underprivileged children in the Philippines through education, healthcare support, and flood relief initiatives.

A roundtable discussion between ACCES, Sige!, and participating artists kickstarted the program.

The conversation focused not only on artistic practice, but also on how artists and organizations can work together to respond to real community needs. ACCES and Sige! reaffirmed their commitment to supporting disadvantaged Filipino children, whether through access to schooling, medical assistance, or aid during natural disasters. The artists expressed their willingness to continue supporting these efforts, recognizing that art can do more than inspire. It can also mobilize support and strengthen communities.

The opening ceremony was attended by United Nations staff and invited guests, underscoring the international importance of the event.

During the program, Marizel Rojas introduced Steve and Ines of The VIC Art Club to ACCES and Sige!, helping build stronger partnerships among the participating groups. Although unable to attend due to a scheduling conflict, Chryzl Sicat, Cultural Attaché of the Philippine Embassy, sent her warm regards to the organizers and artists, expressing her support for both the exhibition and its humanitarian mission. Margo Calderero-Le Lain extended her appreciation to the artists, organizers, and sponsors whose dedication made the exhibition possible. She emphasized that their participation directly contributes to programs that benefit children in need.

Let’s Flourish is more than a series of exhibitions. It reflects a shared belief that art can serve a larger purpose.

By combining creative expression with compassion and cooperation, the participating artists and organizations show how cultural initiatives can contribute to meaningful and lasting impact. Through collaboration and commitment, Let’s Flourish continues to grow, bringing Filipino art to the world while supporting communities back home.
