With over 15 years of experience as a lead nurse at an IVF institute, she brings a deep sense of empathy to both her medical work and her art. Her pieces often made with gouache, coffee, and touches of floral and embryonic imagery, explores identity, belonging, and the delicate process of growth. Through these elements, Lisa reflects on life in the diaspora and the search for self, using coffee to add warmth and texture to her storytelling.
